Wirksworth is a proper working market town with independent bars, restaurants, shops and its own cinema. The Peak District surrounds it with footpaths and quiet cycling lanes on the doorstep. Carsington Water is just 4 miles away with water sports and walking routes.
The mezzanine bedroom features exposed oak beams and a super-king-size bed reached by a spiral staircase.
