The Bothy In The Peaks is a beautifully converted open-plan stone bothy sitting high on a hillside in Snitterton, Derbyshire. Reached via a winding country lane just under a mile from Matlock, it offers stunning panoramic views across the Derwent Valley from both the accommodation and the garden. This is a proper countryside escape with real character.
The surrounding area is walker's territory. Peaceful countryside paths wind for miles directly from the property. Matlock is less than a mile away with shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a weekly market. Bakewell is 9 miles out and Chatsworth House is 8 miles away.

Matlock Bath (under 1 mile) hosts famous autumn illuminations. Chatsworth House and Gardens is 8 miles away (15 mins). Haddon Hall with its Christmas markets is nearby. Bakewell, home of the original Bakewell pudding, is 9 miles (20 mins).
