A lovely little cottage for a couple on a getaway. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the location for getting around the Peak District. The cottage is small but the right size to sit out in the evening, make meals and enjoy a comfy bed. All very well presented with a view for miles. The cottage is up a hill (some may need a breather half way up on the way back) which leads to the perfect little village. A couple of shops, cafe and several pubs. Recommend Poets Corner by some margin, best for food and a great view in the garden. The cottage is also a short drive from Ashover Rock, great for walks or you can drive up and see the amazing view. Within 30 minutes are Chatsworth House, Bakewell and Matlock Baths among other locations worth a day out.

It is also not far from Matlock where we could do lots of exploring. The cottage was very tidy, homely, and had everything you could possibly need.
