Rose Cottage Reviews

Noreen
The cottage was ideal for my needs. Sadly no parking, which is common for Youlgrave. A warm cosy little cottage with everything you need.
Sarah
A really sweet cottage in a lovely village. Very well placed to visit so many places and great walking in the area. My friend and I had a lovely week in Rose Cottage.
Anne
Cottage is pretty but slightly cramped. We had invited a friend to come along too, thank goodness they didn't. Not much room for the two of us and the dog. Annoying that the garden was across a yard shared with four other cottages. Also instruction pack left for us was the same pack that was also intended for the cleaners. A little confusing.
Miriam
We loved our stay and would recommend this cottage (and its location) to everyone else travelling with a baby!
Caroline
Well situated cottage, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom all lovely. Sitting room quite old-worldly! Well equipped.
Caroline
A cozy, comfortable and clean cottage in a lovely location. Youlgrave is a very friendly village with excellent facilities and is a great base for walking.
Hilary
A lovely cottage in a really ideal location for walks. It is very well equipped and has a distinctive historical decor. We found it to be very comfortable and the village has a shop, a post office as well as 3 good pubs. We would book it again.
Andrew
Great cottage, great location. Might be a bit small 2nd bedroom for 2 other adults, but that's all.
Dave
Absolutely lovely, very comfortable. This cottage has just about everything you require plus dog treats, welcome cookies, milk, tea and coffee. Location is perfect for pub x 3, church, shops, bakery and local tea rooms. We would definitely return, we loved it as did our spaniel DJ, heâ??s never been as comfortable in a strange house before as he was hereâ?¦â?¦I kid you not..
Diane
Overall the visit was a good experience with the exception of the items mentioned in recommendations.
Michael
Very nice cottage in the village, close to all the amenities. Had no problem finding a parking space near the cottage
Pauline
The little extras were very welcome . Scrabble was fun . Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped
Lynda
A cosy, characterful cottage ideal as a base for exploring nearby villages.
Edward
We really enjoyed our stay inRose Cottage. Perfectly placed for buses and all amenities. A lovely village with lovely walk round about.
Andrew
Very well equipped and comfortable cottage, stylishly decorated. Good location; parking is easier in the lane round the corner. The only caveat is that it would be a bit of a squeeze for a family with teenage children, or 4 adults.
Daniel
Cosy cottage right in the middle of Youlgrave. We travelled with a 4 and 6 year old. The cottage was perfect for us. It was well equipped with comfortable beds and a modern kitchen. The location was excellent with pubs, shops in the village. There was a large park for the children and lots of lovely walks from the house, or a short drive away.
