To reach Rose Cottage by car, take the A6 towards Bakewell then follow signs to Youlgreave on the B5056. The cottage is in the village centre. Note that parking is not available at the property, which is typical for Youlgreave village cottages.
The nearest railway station is Matlock, approximately 8 miles away. From Matlock station, you can take a taxi to Youlgreave village. The journey takes around 20 minutes through the Peak District.
