The Cottage In Lea Reviews

Susan
This is a gem of a cottage , beautifully cosy , comfortable and well appointed, totally exceeded our expectations . Lovely extra touch of having some Christmas decorations up. Perfect location for us going to visit Christmas at Chatsworth .
Emma
Excellent stay at the cottage. The area was so peaceful, and there were plentiful walks. The cottage was very stylish. It was a great location to all the local towns. Our first time to the Peak District and to this cottage. We would love to return one day,
Tania
A beautiful cottage, every detail has been thought about and then some. It really made our holiday.
Alexander
Lovely cottage that is out of the way. It was clean, well layout and picturesque. Though you will need a car, As there little public transport. I would recommend it to those who are more a active as there is only a Pub in the village.
Roland
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, which was well equipped, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We did find the second bedroom rather small for two adults, with limited storage. Perhaps more suitable for children. All in all an enjoyable week.
Selene
Beautiful cottage, very large well equipped kitchen and cozy lounge. Garden was lovely to spend time in but access is via steep uneven steps which were difficult for the older person to climb - I am 62 and struggled a bit. Apart from a neighbourâ??s barking dog and and a enthusiastic cockerel, it was very peaceful with great pub down the road.
Emily
The Cottage is absolutely beautiful. There is a lot of space and social areas to spend time although, it still had a nice cosy feel. The attention to detail and amenities are excellent. The Cottage is very well equipped and it was great to have a choice of hot drinks and biscuits on arrival. The location is also fab as it feels very rural but is close enough to shops, pubs and the wider Peak District to get about easily. Parking was easy and the neighbours were all friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed some evening sun sat out on the front patio, overlooking the fields opposite. I would recommend the Cottage in Lea and would love to return.
Diana
Well equipped cottage in a delightful location with lots of walks from the doorstep.
Claire
We thought this cottage was lovely it was well equipped and tastefully decorated and attention to detail e.g providing blankets in the lounge was really welcome. The information book was one of the best we had seen and really enjoyed the local area which all felt unspoilt and idyllic . We would recommend
Rebecca
Lovely countryside cottage, great location, beautiful views. Great safe enclosed rear and front garden. Well equipped and decorated. Really nice little office if you wanted some space to make calls etc. Parking was on the street below the property but we could always get a space.
Alan
Superbly appointed, equipped and decorated cottage in an ideal location for exploring the Derbyshire Dales. The owners have spared no expense to ensure that their guests enjoy the best possible experience. Great local pub just 10 minutes walk too! What more could anyone ask for?
Alastair
Great place to explore the area from, wished we could have booked for longer. The cottage was really well fitted out and whilst chilly on arrival soon warmed up with a blast of heating, which was easy to control. Great big sociable dining kitchen and really cosy bedding. Hope to be back sometime.
