Llamedos is a 17th-century stone cottage in Castleton, sitting within the High Peak area of the Peak District National Park. It sleeps four guests across two bedrooms and is packed with original character think heavy timber beams, exposed stonework and a stone fireplace with an electric fire in the lounge. The original beamed ceilings and stonework give this cottage a genuinely historic feel.

Castleton is a well-established Peak District village with independent shops and eateries on the doorstep. Mam Tor is nearby for panoramic hill views and the Pennine Way starts just 3 miles away in Edale. The location is outstanding guests consistently call it excellent.

The cottage has two bedrooms: a double and a twin with an en-suite WC. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. The kitchen-diner has heavily beamed ceilings and includes a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Parking for two cars is on-site. There is also a small courtyard with seating.

Blue John Cavern is 2 miles away. Speedwell Cavern is just 0.5 miles. Peveril Castle ruins sit above the village. Mam Tor offers some of the best ridge walking in the Peak District.
