Earl Sterndale sits on the edge of Sterndale Moor with Buxton just 5 miles away. The Dragon's Back walk to Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill starts just 2 miles from the door. Lathkill Dale, Magpie Mine and Blake Mere Mermaid Pool are all within 7 miles. This is serious walking country.
