Rolling Mill Cottage sits in the heart of a working dairy farm in Tansley, a village on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire. This spacious cottage sleeps four guests and offers a genuine farm experience with the owners providing guided tours of the milking area and cow sheds.

The location provides direct access to countryside walks from your doorstep. Two good pubs sit within a five-minute walk downhill from the cottage. Matlock town centre offers supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and an indoor swimming pool.

The cottage features two bedrooms: a master with a super-king-size bed (convertible to twin) and original beams, plus a second twin bedroom (convertible to king-size). Both rooms have stone window seats. The stylish bathroom includes a shower over bath. The kitchen-diner has underfloor heating, an electric range oven, Smeg fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The large lounge has a wood burner, comfortable sofas and Smart TV.

Matlock Bath (3 miles, 10 minutes) offers cable cars and riverside entertainment. Chatsworth House (8 miles, 20 minutes), Bakewell (9 miles, 20 minutes) and Heights of Abraham (3 miles, 10 minutes) provide excellent days out.
