Karen
The accommodation is very well situated for off road local walks with pooch. The pub is just over the road and serves extremely good food and ale.
Biddy
A cosy cottage, well located and perfectly fine for our short break with our son, and dog. Good value and nice part of Derbyshire for exploring the high peak.
Janine
Perfect for a short break away. Stones's throw from a beautiful and popular pub. Great walks from the doorstep. Peaceful and everything you need for a small family and dog.
Helen

Sarah
Lovely, cosy cottage in an ideal location to visit the attractions in this part of Derbyshire. Good pub just opposite offering good food and drinks. Recommended already to a friend!
Iain
Excellent for walks.
Michael
Perfect location. Quaint old cottage, small but perfectly formed. Great local walks, friendly village pub, close to towns for more amenities.
Sharon
Cottage was in a great location with the pub across the road which served great food and were very dog friendly. They also sell bread, and other items if you run out. Walks straight from the doorstep to nearby Eyam, Stoneymiddleton and many others. Would definitely visit again.
Jas
Cosy cottage in beautiful, peaceful village with great walks from the doorstep.
Victoria
Great location with lovely pubs serving food close by. Echo previous comments re shower but wasnâ??t a problem as we understood this was the set up prior to booking. Stairs v steep with awkward top step to navigate from double bedroom so not ideal if unsteady on your feet. Property v clean and appreciated the biscuits and milk an arrival after Iâ??d walked over from Sheffield.
Andrew George Hamilton
A lovely cottage, brilliant location, warm and cosy!
Adrian
The cottage was cosy and warm. Well equipped, great location. Great pub over the road. No issues with parking.
Nicky
Loved this little cottage, it was so warm and cosy - perfect to come back to after a days walking. Great location with short walks from the village or longer routes a few miles away. Always lots of hot water and very well equipped. Pub across the road serves excellent food. Had a great few days away here exploring the beautiful countryside.
James
Nice stay other than the shower (or lack of!). Don't understand why you would put in a brand new bathroom suite and only have a bath, with a shower head at waist height. Would only cost you a tiny bit of money to have someone move the shower head to head height and add a shower curtain rail. Just makes for an unpleasant experience sitting in the bath trying to rinse with a hand-held shower whilst not absolutely drenching the rest of the room. We wouldn't have booked this cottage had we realised in advance. Otherwise clean, spacious, well-equipped, nicely located opposite the pub. Would have benefitted from parking instructions when arriving in the dark.
Claire

Robert
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location would definitely stay again
Abigail
Excellent location in centre of pretty village directly opposite a lovely pub with access to lots of footpaths for walking. Very well equipped and comfortable. High quality bedding, towels and kitchen equipment. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits as welcome package very much appreciated. Easy access and good information prior to arrival - accidental damage deposit refunded very promptly after stay. Would definitely stay here again - thank you Dormy
Karen
A very comfortable and cosy cottage right in the middle of the peak district. We had a great time!
Ann
The village of Foolow is beautiful, we really liked it. The location of the cottage was central to many places in the Derbyshire Dales so it suited us down to the ground. We took our granddaughter and the cottage was spacious enough for the extra person, although I would say that the dining table was not really big enough for three people (but we managed). There was everything we needed for our stay and it was very clean and tidy on our arrival. We would stay in Dormy Cottage again if we were ever holidaying in the area.
Elaine
A small but perfectly formed cottage - clean, comfortable and a fabulous spot for exploring the whole of the Peak District.
John
Excellent location in the heart of the Peak District. The single mattress in the small bedroom was a bit firm for my liking, the kitchen lacked a few essentials (like a seive) and there is no DVD player. Minor quibbles for what is otherwise a charming, clean, well appointed and reasonably priced holiday let.
Graham
Had a lovely short break. Nice walk over to Eyam close by. The cottage is spot on as is the pub and food just over the road.
Tracey
Great cost cottage Perfect distance from the pub. Owner very helpful
Linda
Lovely cottage and well equipped kitchen. I think maybe mattress in double bedroom needs replacing as it felt bumpy but still had a good sleep cottage kept warm at all times
