Oatcake Cottage Reviews

Diana
Lovely place, central to everything
Avril
A very warm, cosy cottage. The double bed was very comfortable. Ideal for wet dogs as the floor could easily be cleaned. Excellent location for walking and evening dining.
Sandy
Lovely cosy clean cottage.
Anthony
Great location.
John
Oatcake Cottage is as great little place and exactly what you want from a cottage of that age and setting. Comfortable, cosy and clean. Location is excellent for those wandering off on adventure walks and so convenient for the many pub's and shop's. Can't fault the Cottage or Castleton. Definitely one to return to.
Max
Lovely location and a pleasant property, though a little smaller than it looks in the pictures. A wealth of information about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did Bob, our Parsons JR, who made new friends wherever he went on the many, many nearby walks.
Diana
Lovely cottage, parking , views lovely. Garden lovely. Would reccomend. We would like to return.
Jane
Lovely cottage in a perfect location. The beds were really comfy and we loved what Castleton had to offer. Our dogs loved their holiday too, although if your dogs are fussy about â??goingâ?? on grass, which we discovered ours are, then its useful to know the nearest patch of grass is just a 1-minute stroll down the hill.
Dean
Lovely little cottage in a fantastic location, walks, pubs and shops just a 2 minute walk away. Had a lovely time.
Trevor
Whilst the cottage is small, it is comfortable enough for 4 adults. It is also well equipped and is in a good location for access to pubs, restaurants and shops, etc.
