Elm Croft Reviews

Mark
We had a great stay at Elm Croft. The property was very well equipped with a big comfortable bed and a good shower. Great for access to the Peak District and two pubs within walking distance (we went to the Fox & Goose which is very friendly). Would definitly return if we came to the area again.
Bernard
In a quiet location to get a peaceful break but handy enough to get where you want to visit. Well equipped and comfortable.
Mark
Superb cottage. Fully equipped, clean and comfortable. Nice seating area round back and set in some wonderful countryside. It was a real pleasure.
Steven
Lovely little cottage in a great location and some lovely walks right from the door. The local church is worth a visit. The Fox and Goose pub just 15 minutes walk away serves great food and beer, itâ??s a shame itâ??s only open from Thursday through Sunday.
Gary
An excellent rural location, peaceful whilst being within easy reach of places for picking up food. The cottage is well equipped, warm, with a comfortable bed, the host is friendly and had provided everything needed for the stay, and all at a very competitive price...
David
A lovely place to stay. Lovely and warm. Great for doggy walks straight out of the front door. Thank you for the great stay.
Margaret
Everything excellent, lovely location in Derbyshire Dales, close to Linacre Reservoirs. Owners so kind and helpful.
Bea
A beautiful comfortable cottage in a lovely area, well equipped and perfect in every way. The owners were available if needed and very friendly.
Jacqueline
The cottage was very pleasant. There is an enclosed garden area but you need to go out of the cottage front door and through a gate on the side. The garden isn't accessible through the cottage and the road has a lot of fast moving traffic at times! The bed is enormous and so comfy. Chairs are comfortable too in the sitting room, TV was fine, small but we weren't there to watch TV. Everything you needed in the kitchen area. We thought the property is in a good location but we had difficulty seeing the entrance. Best to reverse in and drive out slowly. Might benefit from a mirror on the main road as my wife had to get out and check the traffic. We'd recommend this property with reservations for dog owners.
Shirley
Elm Croft was exactly what we were expecting from the advert. The owner gave helpful directions on how to find the cottage the day before our stay. The location was good for visiting the Peak District. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The complimentary Granola Slices were a lovely surprise on our arrival.
Kathleen Mary
Very comfortable king size bed, though bedroom but small. Friendly and helpful owner
Avril
Very comfortable holiday . Ideal area for exploring the Peak District
Nicky
The cottage was perfect for us and the dog. Well appointed, very clean, comfortable and homely. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Andrea
The cottage was beautiful. We had days out to Matlock Bath, and Bakewell. We sat in the garden area listening to the birds. Just lovely and relaxing stay.
