Black Spout Cottage is a traditional stone-built property sleeping three guests in Taddington, high in the Peak District hills between Buxton and Bakewell. The cottage sits surrounded by dramatic limestone scenery with outstanding walking routes right from the doorstep.

Monsal Dale and Millers Dale offer spectacular trails nearby. The village setting provides peace and quiet with opportunities to spot wildflowers and local wildlife. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both a short drive away.

Inside you'll find an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor with a wood burner and Smart TV. The kitchen includes a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. An open metal staircase leads to two first-floor bedrooms: one king-size with TV/DVD and Emma memory foam pillows, plus one single room. The wet room has a shower and non-slip flooring.

Chatsworth House (8 miles, 18 minutes) and Haddon Hall (7 miles, 16 minutes) are must-visit estates. Chatsworth Farm Shop (8 miles, 18 minutes) stocks local produce. Monsal Trail (3 miles, 8 minutes) provides excellent cycling and walking.
