We had a lovely holiday. The cottage was warm and welcoming and the owners left lots of thoughtful touches for our arrival. The wood burner is a lovely feature for the winter months and the location was ideal for our exploration of the Peak District. The cottage was also very dog friendly. Would love to visit again, perhaps next year in the summer.

Spacious accommodation in a lovely setting within walking distance of the village. Good parking, country walks from door, and the welcome pack included a vase of beautiful flowers from the owner's garden which was a lovely touch.
Fiona
We had a great 4 nights stay at Nuthatch cottage. The setting is beautiful and the hosts live on site in the stately house next door. The cottage has everything for the perfect stay, we even used the BBQ area off the courtyard. There are 2 local pubs within a 15 min walk, Old Hall Inn serves great food and generous portions. Dogs are welcomed at the accommodation and at local pubs.

D
Lovely set up, three cottages in a courtyard with plenty of free parking. The cottage was clean and well equipped, the beds comfortable. Fresh farm eggs and a bottle of Red left for our enjoyment. Although rural the walk into nearby Chinley takes less than 15 minutes, a torch is handy if going out after dark, and wear something reflective, not much traffic as only a single track but safety comes first. Would definitely recommend, absolutely beautiful area with plenty to see and do even if you're not much of a walker.
Lucy
Great cottage, very well thought out with all the equipment you need, fresh eggs and welcome treats for the dogs too! We had the best time there!
Janette Ann

The Cottage was very clean, well presented, fully equipped and the dishwasher was a welcome bonus. The â??information bookâ?? was invaluable that helped us enjoy our days out during our stay. We wouldnâ??t hesitate to come back or recommend to our friends.

I can't speak highly enough of The Nuthatch. Easy booking, and lovely hosts who couldn't have been more accommodating. A beautiful, warm and cosy cottage which was sparkling clean and very well equipped. Well located for all the Peak District attractions, and Manchester. If we're up that way, I'd definitely choose to stay at The Nuthatch again.
