Herbal Cottage Reviews

Liz
Cosy cottage for 5!
Jane
Warm and welcoming cottage in a very convenient location.
Rob
The cottage was very comfortable, warm and in an ideal location just a minute walk from the village centre. The parking space is for just a small car which is mentioned, we spoke to the staff in the Miners Arms and were allowed to park there which is just a three minute walk
Tina
Location is superb in a lovely little village near to all the places in the Peak District you might want to visit. The cottage itself is a really comfy/cosy and has absolutely everything you could need. The owner is himself a local so he is always only a phone call away should you need anything. Definitely worth a visit
Lisa
Really lovely little cottage. All the amenities you need including the fluffiest towels! Great location in the centre of the village. Cosy, warm and just perfect for a week in the Peaks!
Lisa
Lovely comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. Car parking is tight so if your car is bigger than a Ford fiesta you probably won't fit. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with everything you could need if you decided to self cater (including a dishwasher). Living room was also very cosy in the evenings which was needed after a long day of walking! Nicely placed within Eyam for walks and visiting the museum, shops and tea rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
Paul
The cottage is full of character befitting of Eyam itself, and was extremely comfortable. Ian was helpful with both check in and out, and was always there if needed. The location is spot on. Right in the middle of the village only a stones throw from The Miners Arms. Parking is a slight issue if you have a medium to large car but the staff at the pub let me use their car park which was very handy. Loved my stay and would highly recommend.
Hannah
The cottage was lovely, very cosy and clean. Great location, beautiful village
Michael
Lovely cottage, very warm and cosy. Great for families (and their dogs, if they have one). Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to eat in (but there are also great eating places nearby), and the washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher are an added bonus. The living room is very comfortable and there is a great selection of games for those evenings in. Lovely beds. Soft, fluffy towels. A great base to explore the Peak District, with Chatsworth House only 15 minutes away. Eyam is an easy walk, and very historic and atmospheric.
Amanda
The Herbal Cottage is in a perfect location. Close to the walks, cafes and pub in Eyam. Cottage has everything you need. Highly recommend.
David
Fantastic location in Eyam with a really nice pub 2 mins walk away which served very good food.
Justine
This beautiful little cottage was perfect for our holiday. Everything we needed was provided for us, even a pint of milk and a packet of cookies. It was clean and comfortable and welcoming. The location is fantastic: right next to two tea rooms and a pub, and Eyam is a brilliant hub from which to explore the Peak District.
Caroline
Had a lovely short stay at Herbal Cottage. The home was very comfortable and cosy and we felt at home right away. The kitchen had everything you needed and the bathroom was modern with a great shower. The little stove fire was great for the evening and the sofas were very comfy. It was great to be right in the village with the tea shops and pub a stones throw away. Enjoyed wandering round and seeing all the history of the village. We didnâ??t visit the museum as we had the dog with us, but there were lots of boards around the village telling you about the history. Took the bus to Bakewell one day which was lovely.
Sally
Very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Clean and very comfortable beds.
Jason
Herbal Cottage is set in the perfect location, 60 seconds walk from three fantastic cafes and about 90 seconds from a country pub. The cottage has lovely character, quaint but spacious and very comfortable. It was well equipped for our needs and we would happily return.
Justin

Natasha
Herbal Cottage is an absolutely wonderful base for exploring Eyam and the surrounding area. The cottage was really clean and comfy with everything we needed. Would highly recommend.
Jenny
Great cottage! The home had everything you could want to make you feel like you were at home. The location was great, lots of history and good walks.
Mary
Excellent, clean, well equipped, homely cottage in the heart of the village of Eyam
David
Excellent location, small garden for the dogs and several short local walks were ideal. Cottage has everything, cooked one night but pub and cafes on doorstep are great. Definitely recommend and on our favourite list
Jenni
Well situated in the village but parking will be away from the cottage. Local pub serves good food and are really friendly.
Jacqueline
Great value for money, especially considering the great location. Some improvements in the house would make a stay even better.
Donna
The cottage is very homely and made us feel like we was at home. It is in a lovely location. There is a local pub which serves food which is lovely and there is a couple of Cafes around the village the cottage is located. In a lovely and quiet village there is a museum which is dedicated to the plague, which is interesting.
Paul
Had a very nice stay, there were 5 adults in our family party, 3 generations. A relaxing time was had by all.
Nessa
Lovely cottage with everything you need for a holiday. We had a fantastic holiday playing the games from the cottage and BBQ. Great little village where everyone was so friendly, great walks for all. Pub 2 minutes away, but very quite. Great place if you want to get away from it all.
Jane
A great cottage in a fantastic location
Claire
Excellent - lovely cottage for a weekend stay in the peaks
Elizabeth
There doesnâ??t seem to be a parking place by the cottage as advertised though it didnâ??t really matter to us as we found places close by. The cottage felt smaller than the photos impliedâ?¦ but it was thoughtfully designed and cozy.
Daniel
A beautiful cottage with everything we needed for our week in the Peak District! A great location and a lovely setting.
Louise
Beautiful cottage in central Eyam village. Nice walk on doorstep to stoney Middleton with lovely fish and chip shop.
