Mariska
We had a lovely holiday. The house is well equipped and the views are beautiful.
Sharon
Nice cottage, good location.
Paul
Hi, the cottage is very well equipped, very comfortable beds and great storage for the bikes. The location is great for walking and cycling, with nice pubs to drink and eat, dog friendly. However having a church nearby that chimes day and night made it difficult to sleep. The McConnell family of x4 adults.
Joanne
Wow! We stayed here as a family to celebrate an 80th birthday. The property is really beautiful & so close to the town centre. There are some fabulous country pubs just a short drive away. The balcony off the lounge at the front is a great spot for a morning cuppa - so very private even though itâ??s at the front. The kitchen is really well equipped - The coffee machine with filters is a nice touch. Thank you to the owners for letting us share your lovely place. Weâ??d really like to return & will definitely recommend to others.
Claire
We stayed here as a family of 2 adults, 2 children and grandparents and it really was wonderful. A superb location and the kitchen is so well equipped. We loved all the outdoor seating areas and our 4 year old adored the table tennis and lawn games in the garage. Highly recommend and we definitely would go back!
Michelle
A lovely holiday home that is well organised with lots of equipment especially in the kitchen. With a driveway and a wrap around garden it was perfect for our days out walking and then returning home for a cuppa or a chilled glass of something alcoholic. We often popped down the hill into Ashbourne town itself for supplies or dinner. Many shops/pubs/cafes are dog friendly too. We were very happy to stay here in a beautiful home, with beautiful surroundings.
Sue
Our second visit to this lovely cottage and it was every bit as comfortable and relaxing as the first time.
Liam
Very impressed with this cottage. Easy walking access to the centre and a good view out over Ashbourne. The property is very snug and well maintained, nothing really to complain about. Property has a lot of useful information and walking books if you're not prepared with things to do.
Kaira
We had a lovely family holiday over February half term. The cottage is in a great location with lots of walks easily accessible. Our stay was comfy, the welcome book held all the information we needed, everything was well thought out, and everything we needed was provided. Beds were spacious and comfy, and the shower was powerful. The cottage was nice and warm even in chilly February, and the lobby area was really handy after muddy walks. My son enjoyed the table tennis in the garage, and there was lots of games and a couple of toys provided in the living room cupboard.
Ann
We had a lovely and comfortable stay at The Eyrie Cottage. It is in an excellent location and within close walking distance to the centre of Ashbourne. Also beautiful surrounding areas for walking. The cottage is spacious but cosy and very well equipped for all your needs. All areas were very clean and the cottage is well maintained. I would definitely visit this cottage again and have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends.
Jenny
A lovely home. A short walk from the local restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Perfect location for exploring the Derbyshire Peak District. Comfortable well equipped holiday home. Lovely break.
Sue
A wonderfully relaxing week in a very comfortable cottage. We enjoyed the views across the valley from the living room and the gentle sound of the church bells in the distance. And Ashbourne itself is lovely - plenty to see and do on the doorstep.
Lynda
Well equipped cottage in a very good location for the town.
Judith
A lovely immaculate cottage and a well equipped kitchen situated in a good position. Everything you could want in a holiday home
Jenny
We enjoyed our stay in this very well appointed house. Sadly we were unable to enjoy the lovely garden areas due to the horrible weather. It is ideally situated within a short walk of the town and well placed for visiting the surrounding areas. Great to have private parking big enough for large car, but be aware you can only back into the drive and it can be tricky when cars are parked opposite. We would certainly consider staying there again.
Julie
Absolutely lovely place, and a short walk to town. Great location.
Judith
We found this place very relaxing with plenty of room and would definitely stay again. It was in a great location to visit various surrounding areas.
Shelley
The cottage is well laid out with everything you need. The welcome basket was lovely and we used the information supplied to enjoy some lovely local meals and walks. The outside areas are delightful and all the directions and information was very clear and easy to follow.
Claire
Very comfortable accommodation & great location for ready access to Ashbourne and Derbyshire Dales
Clare
Lovely property in a great location for exploring the Peak District. The house has all the elements you need for a comfortable stay & Ashbourne is a really nice town. Outside area has nice seating areas where you can appreciate the views & relax (when itâ??s not raining!)
Robert
Clean and really comfortable house with lots of extra little touches and plenty of outside seating areas. The wifi was very weak, which affected some functions of the smart tv.
Allyson
Lovely house, wifi a bit weak, suggest putting thicker curtains in bedroom blackout blinds good but not enough as we were awake at 4.30 in morning with sunshine, but a lovely stay
Cathy
The Cottage was a home from home with every comfort, spotlessly clean, all the kitchen equipment you could require, very comfortable beds. If there was one fault it was that the garden was not secure for our dog, which had to be on her leash all the time. The drive had no gate and both garden areas had gapes sufficient for a dog to get through, one of which was on to the main road. Whilst this was a concern it did not detract from our enjoyment as our dog is still quiet young and requires supervision.
Great spot - house v clean & everything you would need. Not far to the â??Trailâ?? & walks.
We had a lovely few days in your beautiful house and town. We enjoyed exploring around and going for walks.
Had a wonderful weekend. Perfect place to leave your car behind and explore the town, and walks. The house is great and we loved all the added touches for us and the dog.
Chris
This has been the perfect place for our family Christmas get-together, thank you! The house is really lovely and so well equipped, much thought and care has gone into it. Even down to providing Xmas decorations! The 'welcome box' is a lovely touch.
