About Baslow Cottage

Baslow Cottage is a characterful three-storey stone cottage located in the heart of Baslow village in the Peak District. The village sits close to the River Derwent with footpaths leading to Baslow Edge. From there you get commanding views of the Derwent Valley. Bakewell market town is a 10-minute drive away. A bench at the front of the cottage provides a lovely spot for watching village life.

The cottage sleeps 5 across three bedrooms. The spacious king-size main bedroom extends into the eaves on the top floor with an en-suite bathroom and Velux window offering glimpses of Chatsworth Park. The first floor has a double bedroom and a single bedroom. A family bathroom with bath and electric shower serves the first floor.

Chatsworth House parklands are reachable by a short walk across a bridge. Bakewell (3 miles, 10 minutes) offers shops and markets. Haddon Hall (4 miles, 12 minutes) and Eyam Museum (6 miles, 15 minutes) are nearby.
