Waters Edge The Alleys Reviews

Wendy
Everything was fantastic and the owners were on hand if we needed anything. It was Storm Claudia on the day we arrived so the weather was horrible with lots of delays so without even being asked they put a light on to help us find the property more easily and put the heating up so it was cosy when we arrived. Brilliantly equipped and lovely kitchen so self-catering was a dream...we even made bread and a birthday cake! Lots of fabulous walks available right from the door. Highly recommend and we definitely plan to return to this lovely haven.
Cara
Amazing set up and well thought out property. We loved the addition of the walking books and lots of information about the local area. Would definitely book again

Wonderfully quiet location. Cottege is very well equiped and clean. Great walks from the doorstep. Owner has thought of everything to help the stay highly enjoyable. We found this cottage fairly last minute for a short break plus visit friends/relatives. It was really well equipped with the essential King size bed and we would not hesitate to book again. Kath the owner lived on site which is peace of find should you have any problems.

Michael
Lovely quiet and pretty location but close to shops and to the Peak District and other attractions. Very well-equipped and supplied with all sorts of handy things from fly spray to sandwich bags. Very comfortably furnished and a very warm welcome from owner. We would certainly return.
Carol
Fridge was left open so icebox was frozen up we had to clean before use. were pack very poor. Some double glazed windows had gone so streaming with water. Cooker controls were worn so no indications of temperature. Lady who owned property really nice but needs tlc.
Sarah
