Carsington Water provides sailing and watersports. Chatsworth (15 miles, 25 minutes) and medieval Haddon Hall make excellent days out. Buxton (8 miles, 15 minutes) has the Opera House and Pavilion Gardens.

Ground floor accommodation includes a super-king bedroom with exposed beams and a twin room. The bathroom has a spa bath with shower over. Upstairs features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden floors. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room.
Outside you'll find ample off-road parking and a charcoal BBQ with stunning countryside views. Hartington village offers a farm shop, restaurants and local pubs within walking distance.
