A lovely last minute find which we found to be very comfortable and cosy.We slept so well in this cottage. The village of Hayfield where it was situated was very quaint and we were made to feel welcome by the neighbours and local residents. Some lovely walks from the village.
Jenny
Thank you for a lovely comfortable stay. The house is in a great location for walks and has amenities on the doorstep. Itâ??s a home form home. We would definitely return.
Karen
We really enjoyed our stay at The Bothy, the cottage is situated in a lovely village. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the cottage. The walking maps and local information were very helpful. Lovely walks right from the cottage - forget the car for the week. Plenty of pubs for eve meals. A local shop open until 7 for small bits of shopping. The butchers had a really good selection of local cuts. We found car parking not a problem although once we needed to park in the closed hotel down the road. This carpark was used by locals and visitors alike. We will definitely be visiting again
Jane
This is a very comfortable cottage close to the centre of the village. The kitchen has everything you need, beds are very comfortable, altogether a lovely place to stay. Parking is on the road but we had no prblem getting a spot close to the house.
Sarah
Fabulous cottage, spotlessly clean & very well equipped. Quality of all the furnishings was excellent, including very comfortable beds & top quality linen & towels. The outside space was so lovely & we were lucky enough to get good enough weather to make good use of it. We will definitely book this again.
Tam
Great location in a lovely village with all facilities that one could hope for. Wonderful walks from the door, and no need to travel far spectacular landscape and places of interest. And a perfect home from home to return to.
Pauline
A fabulously clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage right in the centre of Hayfield. No expense has been spared in maintaining this property, everything you want and need with high end furnishings and fittings. A beautiful place to spend a holiday with lots of amazing walks on the doorstep as well as some very good places to eat and drink. Can honestly recommend to anyone.
Veronica
Beautiful property in convenient location of Hayfield, particularly for walkers. Very well equipped and designed. Exceptionally clean. Comfy beds. We were a party of two friends and two small dogs and there was ample space for three nights. The en suite in the front bedroom is a great use of space behind the cupboard door. We were blessed with such good weather (particularly for May) so made use of the small, but very nice private patio at the back of the house. We would highly recommend this property but please take note of the description referring to the fact it does not have dedicated parking. At the time we visited the local hotel was closed so we were able to park there, which is 1min walk, as the on street parking on Kinder Road was full. However this may not always be the case so you may have to walk a bit further in peak season.
Georgia
A much needed escape and break away with my family in a little village 10 mins from Glossop near the Manchester area and New Mills. Yet you feel a million miles away from a city
Fiona

Roxanne
A stunning, cosy home in a prime location; there's a fabulous variety of walks on the doorstep. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely finishing touches and mod-cons. It's in the heart of a peaceful village which has local convenience shops, an excellent butchers, and variety of pubs. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!
Lisa
A cosy cottage in a great location. My family of 4 and our labrador had an excellent stay over new year. The cottage is comfortable and equipped well. We enjoyed the complementary fizz and chocolates on arrival. Thank you
