Box Tree Cottage is located close to local amenities in Matlock and enjoys great views over the town and country side. The owner proactively got in contact with us to answer any questions we may have had and confirmed the location of the keys. On arrival key supplies were available so we did not need to go to the shops immediately. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and comprehensive instructions for the cottage were available together with lots of guides and maps for the local area. Overall our stay at Box Tree Cottage worked out very well, providing an excellent base to visit the Peak District.

The bedroom with a separate entrance was ideal for travelling with our 24 year old son and gave us privacy and independence when required. Great accommodation although not a great location to walk back from Matlock as itâ??s on a very steep hill!
