Springfield Cottage is a lovingly restored character cottage sitting just outside Castleton in the Peak District National Park. Set on one level, it features original wooden beams, curved walls, an original fireplace with wood burner and a big bay window with a window seat. Uninterrupted panoramic views across rolling hills and open countryside make this a genuinely special place to stay.
Castleton sits at the heart of the Peak District. You can walk to Mam Tor, Winnats Pass and four show caves Peak Cavern, Speedwell Cavern, Blue John Cavern and Treak Cliff Cavern all within two miles. Traditional pubs are within 500 metres.

The nearest railway station is Hope, approximately 2 miles from Castleton. From Hope station it is a short taxi ride or a pleasant walk along the Hope Valley into the village.
