Forget Me Not Reviews

Paul
Cosy and comfortable cottage located in a village with excellent amenities and well situated as a base to explore this beautiful part of the country. Parking can be tricky by the cottage at the weekend and I would imagine in high season - off road parking ad hoc nearby.
Deborah
Lovely relaxing stay in a very comfortable warm cottage, in an exceptional location.
Barbara
Lovely cosy cottage
Richard
Comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a friendly village with all the amenities you need as a visitor, and in a great location for exploring the Peak District.
Christopher
Overall a very well situated cottage in lovely location. Cottage very clean and well equipped. Outside area needs attention to bring up to original spec which owners have been made aware of.
Ben
A wonderful little cottage tucked away in a fantastic village. Whilst compact, the cottage has a wonderful feeling to it and flow. Everything we needed for a lovely week in the peaks. The garden is tiered and compact but a wonderful little place to spend time outside in the sunshine, especially on the top terrace. The owners have thought of everything!
Neil
This is a lovely little cottage, very clean and well maintained, with a great terrace area for sun, a large conservatory for dining, and comfortable louge, right in the centre of a pretty village and access to wonderful country side.
Mickiela
Lovely cottage, great location
Ben
We had a wonderful stay at Forget-Me-Not Cottage, which is ideally located in the heart of Tideswell village and is perfectly sized for a small family holiday. The cottage is compact, however very well provisioned with equipment and the owners wonderful attention to detail provides finishing touches which create a lovely cosy atmosphere. The log burner and heating system are both incredibly straightforward to operate, which ensure a lovely warm and cosy winter retreat. The conservatory is a fantastic place to enjoy cosy meals in, especially with the Christmas decorations. The side entry was particularly useful for muddy boots and a dirty dog. The ground floor has obviously recently been renovated and it really shows, with the lovely kitchen ideal to cook family meals. Upstairs is more traditional, but not unpleasant and provided everything we needed for a winter family escape. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so much so that we have already booked to return (twice!) since coming home.
James
Super for the summer. Lovely cottage with all you could want but not a winter retreat unless you bring some logs with you and are prepared to get up in the middle of the night to boost heat. Wonderful village with plenty of pubs and local services.
Nicola
Our 2nd stay in this beautiful cottage. Has everything you need and is in a fabulous location. Perfect for setting out on long walks with the dog then returning for a welcome drink in one of the local pubs before heading back to the cosy cottage. Will definitely book again.
Michelle
Ideally located warm and comfortable cottage
Sara
Lovely cottage in an excellent location. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything you needed for a week away from home. Tideswell is a lovely village with a number of pubs and shops. It is on a bus route with access to a number of local towns and villages plus a great location for walking in the Peaks.
Joris
We had a wunderfull holiday in this well equipped cottage. Tideswell is a lovely village with pubs and stores all at walking distance from the cottage.
Peter
Difficult to park directly outside Television control not easy to access at first
Jörg
The Cottage is cosy, we felt at home from the beginning. Due to the unusually cold and rainy weather we spent a lot of time in the conservstory instead of the lovely garden. The Equipment is good, we only missed a big pot for cooking pasta. We really had a great week in a great location.
Samantha
The cottage was in a lovely location, had everything we needed for our stay and was in great condition. A perfect stay!
Stephen
Very nice and cosy cottage, and location couldnâ??t have been better. The owner was helpful, when we needed an electrician they were there within an hour. Could walk to nearest pub in less than a minute, always a bonus. There were only two downsides, the hoover wasnâ??t very good and made the place smell of dogs, and there were no doors downstairs. I assume there couldnâ??t have been a one into the lounge because of a step, into the conservatory a sliding door would be good. Our dog sleeps downstairs at home, so if your dog sleeps upstairs itâ??s not an issue. They are the only moans, but apart from that it was perfect for us, and we will hopefully be back next year.
Rebecca
Lovely cottage & village. Great proximity to plenty of walks and hikes
