Miss Muffet's Cottage is a former estate worker's cottage in Ticknall, Derbyshire, sitting on the edge of the National Forest. It's a genuine chocolate-box cottage with exposed beams, original stonework, an inglenook fireplace and two open fires. Ticknall is an unspoilt village with three pubs and a café within walking distance. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling. Calke Abbey's entrance is just half a mile away. Melbourne's independent shops and cafés are 2. 5 miles down the road.
