Shippon Cottage is a traditional stone cottage in Hope Valley, Derbyshire, sitting in the heart of the Peak District. Thick stone walls and exposed ceiling beams give it a genuinely old-world feel. Hope Valley is walking country. Mam Tor is 3 miles away. Castleton village is right on the doorstep with pubs and shops. The landscape here is open moorland, limestone dales and big skies. You can walk straight out the door and into the Peak District National Park.
